
Data Protection Bill
The Bill that modifies our current Law N°19.628 on the Protection of Private Life (Bulletin N°11144- 07/11092-07) enshrines substantial modifications to the Chilean current personal data protection regime. There are many new aspects that this project raises, such as: aspects related to consent, new bases of legality, rights of the holders and duties of those responsible and representatives, international transfer of data, creation of a Data Protection Agency, regime of sanctions and fines and prevention models, etc.
